Submission Specifications

  • While submitting your abstract, please ensure you select your preferred mode of presentation from the options below:

    1. E-poster: If you opt for an e-poster, your abstract will most likely be assigned for e-poster presentation.
    2. Any of Oral or E-poster: If you select this option, your abstract will be evaluated by the scientific committee, which reserves the sole discretion to assign it as either an oral or e-poster presentation.
    1. The presenting author MUST BE a registered delegate.
    2. Submitting an abstract DOES NOT REGISTER one for NAPCON 2026 unless the payment formalities are completed.
    3. All correspondences (regarding review, selection and presentation details) will be mailed to the PRESENTING AUTHOR ONLY.
  • Submitters are requested to go through the following carefully:

    1. Author Details: Full name, affiliation details such as department, institution/hospital, city, state, country should be mentioned properly.
    2. Contact Details: E-mail and phone number of the presenting author should be mentioned properly. Please do not mention any other contact.
    1. Submission signifies consent to publish the work, if accepted, as part of the NAPCON 2026 proceedings.
    2. Abstracts could be EDITED or REVISED ONLINE ONLY until the submission is open.

Strict Restrictions

  • NO Image, Table, Graph or Illustration should be included
  • NO Brand names or Manufacturer names should be mentioned
  • NO Late submission will be accepted
  • NO Resubmission of the same paper will be accepted
  • DO NOT mention the author(s) name in the academic contents of abstracts

DO NOT SUBMIT THE SAME ABSTRACT FOR MORE THAN ONE TOPIC or ONE CATEGORY.

Author Responsibilities

  • Previous Presentation
    Work presented at other national/international meetings may be submitted. However, work previously presented at NAPCON should not be re-submitted.

  • Ethics & Approval
    Clinical work should be reviewed/approved by ethics boards. For basic science work, it is obligatory to provide a statement confirming ethics committee review.

  • Content Integrity
    Avoid personal criticisms. Criticism should be restricted to scientific content, based on evidence. Data must be original and not plagiarized.

Submission & Selection Guidelines

  • Submitted abstracts may have been presented elsewhere; however, they must not have been published as a full article in any journal
  • Best papers will be selected for presentation at the Award Session during NAPCON 2026.
  • A delegate may submit a maximum of 2 abstracts for this award; however, only one will be considered for presentation at the Award Session.
  • The Scientific Committee holds the sole discretion in selecting abstracts for this Award Session

Review Specifications

All abstracts will be reviewed online by an experts' panel through an unbiased, blinded selection process.

Selection is based on:

  • Medical & Scientific Content
  • Quality of Data
  • Methodology
  • Format Adherence
The scientific committee holds the sole right to accept or reject papers, and to decide on the final slot allocation.

Rejection Criteria

A paper can be rejected if:

  • Presentation delivered earlier in any format in any previous NAPCON
  • The paper remains incomplete
  • It does not comply with all the guidelines
  • It is not having expected scientific merit
